The St. Louis Animal Emergency Clinics of greater St. Louis is seeking qualified applicants for staff veterinarians. We currently operate four clinics two of which are 24- hours/7 days a week and the remaining two are nights, weekends and holidays. We accept cases from approximately 200 referring hospitals from the surrounding area.
Our caseload is extensive, unique and varied. The work environment is enjoyable and fulfilling. Our goal is to provide compassionate and high quality care for our patients, clients and referring hospitals. Our support staff is very competent and works closely with the doctors.
The doctors are provided with a generous benefit and compensation package. Flexible scheduling and rotating time off is the norm. Typically, doctors work on average 15 shifts per month. We provide mentorship and training by a senior clinician to all new hires helping build skills and confidence.
We are associated with the UMC-VTH Emergency and Critical Care residency program. Our doctors work with the local specialty practices as well as UMC-VTH to provide advanced treatment options. We also have an association with boarded radiologists for consultations.
